Aidan is dressing up as Captain Hook without the hook! He is really excited to "go to Halloween"! We are going to the trunk or treat at the church and then will go aroung the neighborhood.

We had a pirate themed birthday party so he is all into pirates right now. He even loves the Pirates of the Carribbean movies! I will post pictures from his birthday.

Aidan

Aidan will be 3 on the 10th! We are having a pirate themed birthday party on the 11th. He is so excited! I have found some really cute ideas for games. I have also got a really cool cake I am going to make...a pirate ship cake!! I wil post pictures after the big day!!
Aidan continues to stay potty trained, only a few accidents here and there!! We rewarded him with his blue light up light saber. He loves it. We went to Toy's R Us last night to get it and he carried around the store. He got a balloon too! He is getting so big! I can't believe I have a 3 year old!
Only a month and half until # 2 arrives!! We can't wait. I am excited for Aidan to be a big breother. Now when you ask what is in mommy's tummy he says a baby sister! With a big grin!! We have decided on the name Kylie. Aidan says it so cute!!

Our trip to California

I went home to visit family last week with Aidan. It was so good to see everyone. It was a nice relaxing trip. I like having a stress free vacation where I don't feel like I need another day or two to recooperate!!

Thank you to Shannon and Debbie and my mom for hosting Demarle parties to help support me while I was home!! I had a great time and hope all of you did too!!

Oh and Aidan is basically potty trained. He has continued to stay dry and even uses the potty without telling us sometimes!! I hope it lasts!! We have a chart that he gets to put a sticker on every time he goes to the potty. He is working toward a blue light up light saber at Target. His Birthday is on October 10th, so I think he will get it for his birthday!

Potty Training!!

Last Saturday when Aidan woke up dry I decided to start working on potty training. The first couple of days he wore a diaper and I just had him use the potty every 1/2 - 1 hour. By Tuesday I had him in underwear and he stayed dry all day except for one accident. He did awesome on Wednesday, and for the most part Thursday (today)!! Except for when we got home. He had one accident while eating dinner and then pooped later on, and then peed in his pull up after getting ready for bed. He has been doing so good. Does anyone have suggestions on how to keep him going strong? I have no doubt that he can get it, I just don't want him to lose it when he is so close! I can't wait!!

I have decided to become a representative for Demarle At Home! It is an exciting company that has only been in the US for 5 years. It is flexible bakeware. We are having a GIRL!!`

So we found out we're having a girl on July 14th!! For those of you who don't know I am pregnant, I am due mid November. Now everything is pink and girly!! My mom came up to help make bedding and curtains. It is so cute. I have been left to finish the bumper pad and I am not doing such a good job at it. I am not an experienced sewer. Other than a couple simple blankets and pajama pants, I have not really sewn. So far tonight I have broken 2 needles and with only 2 lines left to sew. I have decided to leave it until my mom or someone else more experienced than I can finish it. It is going to be Hawaiian/Surfer girl theme! It is very cute!

I am so grateful to be a mother! I got breakfast this mornng made by husband with the help of my son. I got some beautiful red roses and a really sweet card from my husband and son. I know I am loved!
I want my own mother and sister and Sisters-in-law to know how much I love them too!

First try at this bloging thing!

I am not sure about all this, but my friends have told me that is is a great way to keep a journal and to keep in touch with friends and family so I am going to give it a shot. I just hope I have time to keep it up!!
